Polished Picks: Mod-ern Gal

There is not a better way to relax than to get a manicure or pedicure. I’ve always had a bit of an obsession with nail polish. I recently went through all of my polishes, and entered them into a Google Docs spreadsheet. I realized there are a lot of them that I haven’t worn in a long time. I decided to challenge myself to wear each and everyone of them. I’m also documenting my opinion of them on the spreadsheet. I thought it might be kind of fun to share that with you too.

This week I’m sharing pictures of OPI’s Mod-ern Gal. Well, at least I’m pretty sure that is the name. I’m missing part of the sticker, so I did a comparison on OPI’s website. This is the closest match I could find. It is a bright orange, that screams summer. As with most OPI lacquers I liked how easy it was to put on. Two coats and done for a bold, opaque shot of orange.Again, these are cell phone pics. I think I only have one or two more weeks worth before I make it to my pics with my regular camera.Do you/would you wear bright orange polish?

jeans so comfy you could sleep in them

Two pairs of jeans were my first post challenge purchase. It took me almost two months to take the plunge. However, I’m glad I held out. These jeans are so incredibly comfortable. I was browsing the Target clearance racks and found the William Rast jeans for $12. I liked the price and managed to find my size, so I snagged two pairs and love them!
