Date Night in a Romper

I swore last year that I would never try rompers. A few weeks ago when shopping for summer dresses and maternity pieces Nate dared me to try on a romper. I gave it a shot, and kind of liked it. I figured at least it would be comfy enough to wear around the house. Friday night I decided to give it a shot paired with fun red tights and a faux leather jacket.

What is one trend you swore you would never try, but liked it after all when you gave it a shot?

A Shot In The Dark

Literally folks, a few outfit shots taken in the dark. I’m not crazy about how they turned out. However, I loved the outfit enough that I wanted to share it with you even though I got home, and didn’t have enough energy to go downstairs to take pictures in my normal spot.

I’m feeling good people. Finally, after all the stress I endured at the beginning of this pregnancy thinking I was going to loose another baby. I’m still pretty tired, but with my crazy schedule that is to be expected. I’m still finding ways to best use my free time. Some things just take precedence over blogging. For instance, I’m tackling potty training head on. I desperately NEED Lyla to be out of diapers before the baby comes. With this baby we plan on cloth diapering from the beginning, so in theory it wouldn’t be the end of the world to have both of the kiddos in the cloth. Laundry would just need to be done daily instead of every other/third day. Ok, I’m done with the baby/kid/pregnancy talk. See you Friday!

Ack!!! I’m still putting together posts from my 30 for 30 challenge. However, I lost a few sets of pictures. That means you won’t be getting a full 30 outfits. That’s ok with me…I’m kind of over documenting this challenge. I finished it over a month ago, so the fact that I’m still posting pictures just drags it on and on. However, since I took a break from blogging I also took a break from taking pictures too. Now it is hard getting back into the swing of things. I will promise you that I won’t still be posting my winter wardrobe once spring officially arrives.

What They Wore: Patterned Tights

I just got these wonderful polka dot tight from We Love Colors. As I dream up ways to style them I thought it would be fun to take a look at how members of

Style Nation have styled their patterned tights.

Jenni from Pixie in Pumps submitted a great shot of her wearing heart patterned tights. I love them to pieces, apparently, she did too as they bit the dust during her photo shoot.

I saw the romance in a pair of lace pattern tights over at Haute Pink Pretty. Love her skirt too.

Over at Ashley Getting Dressed, Ashley put a pair of white patterned tights into a romantic look. She looks elegant and relaxed all at the same time.

Any styling suggestions for my awesome new tights? Looking for inspiration to style colored tights check out my
EMWC: Colored Tights post.
